Pac-xon
Pac xon was inspired by two different games. Its mechanics and general play style come from an old arcade game Qix. The main protagonist of the Pac xon game is a famous character of another arcade game, Pac Man. Ghosts and power ups from the same game are also featured.
The goal of the game is to take over as much space on the screen as possible. That is done by moving the yellow Pac Man character into empty fields and connecting the borders that he leaves as a track behind him. Different kinds of ghosts attempt to stop the character from taking over the screen, as well as steal already conquered blocks.
If a player takes over a large zone in one go, a power up will appear and be available to pick up until it's touched by a ghost. Different power ups grant different bonuses, such as a movement speed boost and time freeze. After at least 80% of the screen is conquered, the player proceeds to the next level. The game has 20 levels in total, each featuring a different amount of varying ghosts.
Currently, the game is well-received by the gamer community. General individual reviews give it a score of average 85% or more.
